Glucerna Nutritional Drink is low in saturated fats, and contains no trans fats. Why is this
important? High levels of saturated fats – found in meat, poultry and dairy foods, and also in oils like coconut and
palm – raise your LDL-cholesterol levels – the cholesterol we refer to as ‘bad’. Likewise, trans
fats, found in some products like crackers and cookies, raise your LDL cholesterol.
Glucerna Nutritional Drink is made with a fat blend that also includes approximately 50% of monounsaturated fats and an
increased level of essential fatty acids compared to the previous Glucerna Nutritional Drink formulation.
